Bloggers For Babies!

I’ve been thinking for a few days now what I can do for the March Of Dimes. I wanted to walk in the March For Babies this spring and raise money some way some how. I thought I could do a fundraiser here on the ol’ bloggy blog. I was kind of stuck on a name and a way to get it rolling.

Then Mandy from Harper’s Happenings started Bloggers For Babies for her area. The name was perfect, and I jumped in and told her I was stealing it all for Charleston, SC.

So here is the pretty banner I stole (but cut off Tacoma, Washington. UPDATE Mandy MADE ME ONE! Yaaay love!):

The walk in Charleston is on April 30th on Calhoun Street downtown. If you live in the area I would be more than HAPPY for you to join the team! Just follow THIS LINK to our March Of Dimes team page and sign up! It’s super easy and you can set your own personal fundraising goal to go towards the group goal. I set the team goal at $1000. I think we can do it y’all! It’s a high number, but I don’t underestimate us one single bit! Once you have joined, invite your friends, add the widget to your blog, add the Facebook app, ask your family to donate, set up a kissing both on Market Street Friday night!

Are you not in the Charleston area but would still love to participate? If you are interested in supporting Charleston Bloggers For Babies please consider donating! It’s very simple! The money will go towards helping educate pregnant families on the signs of pre-term labor. It will also help March Of Dimes reach out to those parents in the NICU, giving them helpful information as well as the support they will so desperately need.
