Bacon Sushi

Bacon is all the rage. Duh, because it’s awesome. But being that I suck in the kitchen and dislike cooking and generally have zero motivation to boil water, my friend Summer offered to help me out with this fabulous idea I had because she likes bacon. And wanted an excuse to cook bacon. Okey dokey Summer! ;) So the “recipe” was mine and Summer added some awesome elements and tweaked the process so that it was perfect. Stuff I wouldn’t know how to do because like I said, I suck in the kitchen. So thanks to Summer, I am proudly introducing

Bacon Sushi!

What you need:

Bacon
Eggs
Strawberries
Cheese

{And/Or anything else you may want to add!}

First, chop up your cheese and strawberries!

Then you’re going to scramble your eggs.

Next you’re going to fry your bacon! Just don’t do it too crispy. You need it soft enough to shape.

Smells goooooood doesn’t it? I can smell and taste it through my computer screen lol!

Next you’re going to roll your bacon into a circle, put it on the frying pan, toss in the eggs and fry it for just a minute to shape the bacon and keep it from unrolling. FINALLY stick in your strawberry and cheese, and VOILA!

Styles thinks it’s good y’all!

Thanks so much to Summer for helpin’ a sista out! Please visit her blog Banana Hammocks & Tutus and show her some bacon love ;) I think I’m going to have to make it too, because it looks DELICIOUS

It was SOOOOOOOOOOO yummy. Thank you for the idea – really fantastic! And Thank you for all the links :) I’ll be making this again for a brunch whenever I have one. And now that I think about it, it might be beneficial to put the sushi rolls into the microwave for about 45 seconds they’re assembled to “meld” the bacon together. OMG my mouth is watering.

If it’s made in USA, it’s got to have bacon. This is more like a breakfast sushi and it looks fabulous.

BTW, sushi made with bacon instead of fish is also good. :-)
